Children and teens are facing more stress and pressure than ever before. For many it becomes overwhelming and too much to navigate alone. As a parent, you may feel isolated and fearful about how to help. At Rise, our goal is to help you and your family work through times of difficulty and develop strategies that can be used by the entire family to create more peace and support in the home.
Major life events or traumatic events such as death, divorce, abuse, violence, teen pregnancy, or changes in the family structure can also trigger difficult emotions and behavioral issues. In these situations, it’s extremely important that your child has an outlet to process the experiences and emotions so they can heal.
At Rise, we structure our sessions based on the needs of your family. Parents may be involved in the sessions directly or a separate session may be recommended. In some circumstance, your child’s therapist may recommend meeting with one or both parents to discuss what factors might be contributing to your child’s difficulties.
We specialize in treatment for the following:
- Attachment Issues
- Behavioral Issues
- Developmental Disabilities
- Divorce & Blended Family Issues
