Amy Atkinson, LCSW
Therapist
Amy began working for our sister company, Pediatrics Plus, in 2013 in an administrative role. When Rise expanded to offer counseling services, she decided to go back to school to become a mental health therapist. From that moment, Amy knew her dream was to become a part of the Rise family. Amy officially became a Rise employee in May of 2021 and graduated with her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in May of 2022.
Amy believes in helping those kids who come in defeated or carrying loads that are too heavy for them. She is also there for parents who are at a loss on where to go next and strives to ensure they feel heard and less alone. “I do this job for those who just need help being understood and processing their feelings in a safe place, without judgment.”
Amy is a wife, mother to three, and a dog mom who loves to be outdoors and in the water! Her family enjoys camping, game nights, and cheering on the Greenbrier Panthers! Amy is a huge advocate for special needs children, especially those in the visually impaired community after years of advocating for her own visually impaired son.
Amy serves clients in Conway.
